The U18B girls hockey team delivered an outstanding performance against Pocklington, securing an impressive 7-0 victory. Despite starting the match with a slightly depleted squad of just 11 players, the team displayed fantastic cohesion, with precise passing and excellent movement on the ball leading to some early goals.

Midway through the first half, Emily, our super sub, made a quick change from her goalkeeper kit and joined the field as an outfield player, allowing us to rotate with one substitute. Her energy and versatility boosted the team's momentum as they continued to press forward and find the back of the net.

In the second half, the team showed immense grit and determination, maintaining their composure in defence while producing more moments of brilliant passing play. Their hard work and teamwork paid off with additional goals, solidifying their dominance throughout the match.

A fantastic result for the team, demonstrating resilience, skill, and teamwork. Well done, girls!
