The first hockey match of the season kicked off with excitement, featuring a few new faces from Year 11 stepping into the lineup. The team started with a high level of intensity, immediately putting pressure on the opposition. This aggressive approach paid off in the first half as we capitalized on a well-worked play to take a 1-0 lead, setting the tone for the game.

In the second half, the match tightened considerably as fatigue began to set in. The opposition pushed harder, but our team’s resilience and determination allowed us to maintain our lead. Despite the mounting pressure, we stayed strong defensively and held out, ultimately securing the victory.
