In a closely contested match, the U18B girls' hockey team travelled to Ampleforth with determination, though an early setback saw the hosts score within the opening minutes. The unexpected goal momentarily rattled the team, but they quickly regrouped, showing resilience and fighting spirit.

Bolstered by the support of U18A players who stepped in to play out of position, the girls rallied, turning the game into an even and hard-fought contest. Every player gave their all, with excellent defensive work, sharp midfield play, and determined attacking runs, but despite several promising chances, the equalizer remained elusive.

Traveling with just 11 players, the team's energy and commitment were unwavering. Their ability to adapt and support one another, particularly with the contributions from the U18A players, highlighted the strength of the wider squad.
