Barneys first win arrived having traveled to South North CC to play NSB in warm and sunny conditions. Winning the toss we elected to bat and openers Barwick and Hunton took off from where they left against Giggleswick by rotating strike, punishing bad balls and keeping a healthy run rate in the opening overs. Their batting partnership entered the 10th over with 65 runs on the board before Hunton was bowled. Captain Barwick accelerated his batting and reached 49 runs before being caught on the boundary pulling to mid wicket. A good innings that was worthy of a half century in many ways. Calvert, Dickson and Metcalfe all fell cheaply in their innings and the innings ended with Cass and Ranson pushing for more valuable runs. In a shortened game Barney scored 107 runs for 5 wickets.
