The transition from travelling in a coach to playing was swift and did not suit the team which did not know their positions before the game, a quick shuffle of players into position and a faster warm up meant that the team started slowly, conceding 4 converted tries.

This didn't dampen spirits, some stoic defence from Donovan, Harry and Stanley saw the team enjoy some phases of possession, the quick thinking and clever kicking of Leo gave us some territory. Unfortunately the size difference between the two teams took its toll as they continued to dominate.

The team showed great spirit, dogged defence in patches but lacked the cohesion and resilience to score any points.
