A midweek fixture to start the U16s season saw Barney travel to Yorkshire to face Woodhouse Grove. Always a tough place to go and always a tough set of lads. However, the squad stood up to them physically and it became apparent that if we built phases and got the ball to the backline so they had time and space we would cause the opposition issues.Berwick, Claye and Cronin all scored some cracking tries on our way to an excellent away victory. The later took a well deserved hat trick. A great start to the season!
