The tail of the one that got away down in Wakefield. A rearranged fixture played midweek, a late arrival and a forgettable first half losing 19-7. A lack of accuracy and desire to battle hard in attack in our carries and supporting the ball resulted in a lot of defending and a solitary but well taken try by rake and converted by Royle. However, after the half time break there was an excellent response with Barney showing greater character. Some excellent front foot rugby led to tries by Townsend and Marston and two more conversions by Royle. Credit to all the boys for upping their game. Special mentions to Marston, Ward, Hewitt and Hayward for setting the tone for the team in their own play.
